3 months agoOne of my husband’s GO-TO stops whether on a lunch break or as a family! I’m not a wing girl, but MAN… these are tasty! Honestly, my fav off the menu? The Caesar’s salad lol my gosh, the lettuce is ALWAYS crispy and the Parmesan cheese, SO fresh! It’s SO good! My husband is 6’3 and about 350 from Michigan, and if given the option, won’t go anywhere else for wings and a beer. It’s also so nice to go as a family and they are one of the last places that offers outdoor play areas for children, as well as coloring book options and crayons for kids. So freaking nice, and definitely helps a parent enjoy their meal. Thank yall for always making a good salad and time for this mama and her family!

a month agoThere is always excellent food coming here. Extremely happy. The food is always piping hot and really good. Our favorites are the bone-in and boneless wings, the tater tots, and pepperoni and cheese pizzas too.

8 months agoFirst time at this spot. The environment was all positive vibes. People we sat next to have us a left over pizza roll.... delicious 😋. Service was absolutely incredible. "The Tour" is a must, make sure to ask about it. Generosity through the roof.... the wings and sauces were top tier... dare I say some of the best.... cold drinks friendly staff...if your in the area it's a must to visit. Hope yall enjoy.

8 months agoThis ended up being a rad little place to hang out with the girls right after brunch. The Astros game was on, the people were friendly, the food was made from scratch and DELICIOUS, the drinks were decently priced… We’ll most assuredly be back!

2 months agoMy best friend and I had the absolute best dining experience at Anchor Bar this past Friday. Our waitress was Shannon and she recommended several of the Mardi gras menu specials. She was attentive and kind despite it being a busy Friday night. The real shining star of the night was the manager Sarah. My friend arrived late and the manager happened to be walking up to check on our table and my friend thought she was the waitress. The manager graciously took down our order and told us not to worry about the mistaken identity. She came back and checked on us several times throughout our meal and asked if the recommendations were tasting as good as they sounded. This place gets very, very busy and packed and I was super surprised at the attention that we got from both the manager, our server, and several of the bus people. Everyone was very friendly, gracious, accommodating and the service experience was at least 12 out of 10 ! Let me get started on the food... The fried pickles chips not Spears, but they are seasoned to perfection and they come with a jalapeno and regular ranch. If you love fried pickles, I would definitely recommend them ! The pizza logs were very very good as well. The marinara sauce that they come with takes them to the next level . The wings are to die for my friend and I both got flats fried hard and the flavors did not disappoint. The wings are a good size and I definitely recommend the barbecue jerk flavor. It's different because it has a mustard base but it was absolutely deliciously unexpectedly yummy. We had only tried Anchor bar one time before and it was a bit of a disaster, ironically one of the food busters remembered and came over to say hi. There was something weird happening with the kitchen that night and things were just off but I'm so glad we came back for a second try and I will definitely be back again and again. a month agoWent with my family today! Was our first time & did not disappoint. The service was 10/10. Food was 10/10. And atmosphere was 10/10, oh and the music was a 10/10. The playground in the parking lot was super convenient for our kiddos! We will definitely be coming back!

2 months agoMy wife and I decided to try something new simply because we love Truly Selzer on draft, and we found out Anchor Bar had it available. We figured we’d just grab a small appetizer or some wings—but wow, the wings were bomb. The bartender, Micaela, was amazing: honest, super friendly, and very attentive. She even let us preview all of their sauces, and every single one was delicious. The rest of the staff was just as welcoming, especially Sarahi, who delivered our food with a big smile. Definitely a great place to come, enjoy good food, hang out with friends, and catch a game. We’ll for sure be back.

5 months agoIf you’re a wing lover, Anchor Bar on 1604 is a must-visit! The wings are always cooked to perfection—crispy outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. First-time patrons get an extra treat: a free order of their delicious Pizza Rolls—just mention it’s your first visit when you order. The atmosphere is fun and casual, perfect for catching a game or hanging out with friends. Only minor note—the toilet seat in the only working restroom was wicked wobbly, but that’s an easy fix. Everything else? Spot on. Great food, great service, and definitely worth coming back for more!

5 months agoI really love this place! Such good food, so many drinks choices, great wait staff! Beer was a bit slow at times but they were packed with amazing Buffalo Bills fans during Sunday game.
